This is a real fossil. Is a large herbivorous saurolophine hadrosaurid ("duck-billed") dinosaur genus that lived during Upper Cretaceous Period about 65 to 70 million years ago. In 1978, a Maiasaura nesting site was discovered in the Two Medicine Formation near Choteau, Montana, U.
It had a toothless bill that was short and wide, and inside its mouth, there were hundreds of teeth that it used to chew and grind plants. It had a low head with a small bony crest between its eyes and its tail was long and pointed.
Like other duck-billed dinosaurs, Maiasaura's hind legs were longer than its front limbs.
