Large Oreodont Fossil Skull and Bone in Matrix from White River Formation
This is an Oreodont skull with bone parts in a matrix. The fossil comes from the White River Formation and is from the Oligocene Period. The fossil shows signs of erosion and crack repair with filler to the matrix but has no visible restoration to the fossil itself. It measures 10.5" x 6.25" x 5.5 tall and weighs 7.13 lbs.
