Locality: Oued Zem, Khouribga, Morocco. Age: Eocene, 56.8 - 47.8 million years old. A Odontopteryx Bone Bird Fossil from the Ouled Abdoun Basin in Morocco. Odontopteryx was a Pseudotooth bird which had sharp teeth-like projections on their beaks. They were considerably large in size, rivaling the size of most large modern birds. They are though to have had lifestyles similar to most seabirds.
