Pleistocene Fossil Camel Foot Bone Wyoming
This piece was a bit of a mystery. I'll describe as best I can not being an academic. From research this is a fossilized camel foot bone with camel toe. Very cool patina and color. Likely came from a local professors yard sale at one time.
Pieces have been bonded together with some type of glue. You can really see detail in the bone. I thought maybe Pleistocene but that is a total guess going by pics on line. Piece has also been fitted with a wire hoop for displaying on a wall if desired. No matter what it is an incredibly cool piece for a collection. The few people I showed really wanted it. I didn't see many examples as complete as this one. If your looking you probably know more than me. When I found the piece I thought it might be a raptor till looking it up.
