Pterosaurus (Azhdarchoiden tapejaridae) LegBone, Kem Kem Formation, Taouz Province Morocco, Cretaceous 100-93 MYO. This is a pristine section of a leg from a pterosaur. There is no restoration on this bone and has the typical leg bone shape. A beautiful distal end of the leg bone.
One could see that the bone was hollow from the impaction of the red sand still in the bone. This is a very rare find as pterosaur bones are very fragile and usually not very complete.
