Pterosaurus (Anhanguera) Vertebra Bone Section, Kem Kem Formation, Morocco, Cretaceous 112-99 MYO. This section is from a vertebra of an Anhanguera pterosaur with a wing span of 4 meters (about 13 feet). There is no restoration on this bone.
The small V-shaped section of the vertebra is the articulating section. This vertebra is very unique because it has an intact neural column where the spinal chord was. It is from the upper portion of the neck towards the skull. Pterosaur bones and teeth are very fragile which makes this a very rare find.
