Rare Quality Big Gorgosaurus Fossil Theropod Limb Leg Bone Tyrannosaur Dinosaur
Here is a beautifully preserved, dark museum quality hunk of fossil leg bone from the tyrannosaur Gorgosaurus libratus collected from the Two Medicine Formation of Montana. While this Formation typically produces 3 species of tyrannosaurs the specific quarry this bone was found in primarily produced the remains of gorgosaurus which is why the ID is safe bet which typically would not be the case, it is also morphological consistent with gorgosaurus remains vs the others.
