Incredibly well preserved and fossilized specimen. Excavated from well documented and studied bentonite clay volcanic deposits of lower Cretaceous period in origin.

I collected this personally in Central Texas, north of the Llano Uplift. It has enough commonality with the Glen Rose Formation to be categorized as Lower Cretaceous. This fossil is of significantly higher quality than much of the material displayed in museums. Size: 5.5" x 4" x 2. Thanks for looking (much more to come).
