This fossil rabbit bone assemblage is from the White River Formation in Wyoming, USA. It is most likely over 30 million years old.
This is an incredibly detailed specimen; On the right side you could see the forelimb and rear limb with multiple individual, partially articulated digit bones. The left side has another forelimb (see parts on picture identified by mammal expert). And in the middle you could see the vertebrae and ribs.
It does not stand too well on its own so in all these pictures it is displayed on a stand. It has a repaired crack through the middle but I do not believe there to be any restorations. Overall, it's an amazing specimen and would be a great addition to any collection! Length of entire rock: approximately 5 inches (12.7 cm). Height: approximately 4 inches (10.16 cm).Weight of specimen: 2 lb 3.5 oz. Note: colors of photos are NOT edited, but I take pictures either outside in natural sunlight or in a light box, so colors may seem brighter or different from actuality.
Note: The fossils are packed with extreme care, but if the fossil does break in transit somehow, I can only give any form of compensation if there is video proof of the full unboxing provided that shows the fossil was damaged right out of the box. If the fossil is repairable hopefully there will not be a problem. Package weight and size are subject to change.
